DVLS Fast Peroxide Analyzer
The DVLS Fast Peroxide Analyzer (FPA) provides a safe, fast, and accurate alternative to traditional peroxide testing methods such as ASTM D2340 and E299. Built on an Agilent 1260 Infinity II HPLC platform with a dedicated reaction module, it automates the flow injection analysis of peroxides at ppb levels.Using the iodometric reaction, peroxides in the sample react with iodide to form iodine, which is then detected by UV-VIS spectroscopy for precise quantification. The FPA determines both hydrogen and organic peroxides in various hydrocarbon and process streams—including butadiene, isoprene, aromatics, alcohols, and aviation fuels—ensuring reliable peroxide monitoring for safety and product quality.
